"SASS 2004 WESTERN REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS OF MOUNTED SHOOTING"

ROY ROGERS RANGERS POINTS MATCH

The Single Action Shooting Society will present The Showdown at Dead Man’s Point and the SASS Western Regional Mounted Championship six stage main match November 4-7, 2004. Fun Day begins on Friday, November 5 with two mounted practice stages.

Dead Man’s Point is situated on 200 picturesque acres of California's High Desert in Apple Valley, California. You'll enjoy the clean air, sparkling sky and cowboy commaraderie that has made this a desired place to have a Mounted Shooting event. Bring your horse, your kids, your friends! Our time together will be filled with western entertainment, Old West characters, horses, and gunfights. Enjoy days and clear, starry desert nights as you have the best time you’ve had in a long spell with pards, old and new!

The exciting 4-day event unfolds on Thursday with an opening reception, exciting poker tournament Friday evening, and entertainment and dancing on Saturday night, award ceremony on Sunday. There will be lots of good eats and tons of vendors. This event will honor and benefit the SASS Scholarship Fund and Happy Trails Children’s Foundation.

The Roy Rogers Rangers Mounted Shooting Club is producing the Mounted Shooting Regional Championship match and invites all of you to participate in this grand event.

Be sure to register early; advanced registration is required by October 1, 2004; registration onsite will have additional fees.
